Second time in front of an audience: A truly different New Year鈥檚 musical 鈥淪Grease鈥 dazzled 膶ukarica Cultural Centre

On Friday, 14 December, starting from 3 PM at the 膶ukarica Cultural Centre, the students of International School Savremena once again performed an adaptation of the timeless musical 鈥淕rease鈥 for eighth graders from Belgrade primary schools, as well as for the students of Savremena Gimnazija and International School Savremena.

Blend of Geography, Economics and Global Perspectives: See how Savremena鈥檚 students learnt about globalisation in a truly different way

The students of Year 11 had a unique chance to explore the topic of globalisation from different perspectives during the interdisciplinary lesson which connected Geography, Economics and Global Perspectives. Even though the students were presented with different views on the topic, they also pinpointed the characteristics that are common for all three subjects.

Savremena鈥檚 third-year student Nikola Milosavljevi膰 used his summer break for education and his greatest love 鈥 the guitar. On Friday, 29 June, Savremena鈥檚 students had the honour and pleasure to participate in the organisation of a reception at the White Palace. The following day, on Saturday, 30 June, they attended a workshop held by the renowned lecturer Christopher Thurber, after which they took part in a workshop and enjoyed a tour of the palatial complex.
